Shoulder Joint Pain After “Covid Vaccine”? Know its Treatment without Any Operation

Hello everyone I’m doctor Mohal Banker Interventional radiologist and welcome to this special pain Blog.

Whenever our clients call us and don’t listen that India has achieved 159 crores covid vaccination and this is a remarkable number. But we have seen a lot of patients saying they have pain in their shoulder joints. After covid vaccination people get pain in their shoulder. Covid vaccines are given at 40 sites and not 20 sites and the symptoms of this are more common as frozen shoulder. Some patients are not able to lift their shoulders properly due to it.

How to differ the difference between SIRVA and Frozen Shoulder?

In SIRVA patients are having pain, swelling, and frozen shoulder they are having because of the vaccine.

Let’s see how SIRVA happens?

When we go for the vaccine at that time we go from taking time from our busy schedule. We don’t open our shirt fully and because of that, the vaccine gets very high where our shoulder joint is located. In our body, there’s a thing called BARSA which is for the movement of our shoulder and due to the vaccine the Barsa which is also known as Barsaitis people get symptoms like frozen shoulder. So what should we do about that?

As we say Precaution is better than cure. So when we go take the vaccine dose we should take our shirt properly and the vaccine should be 3 fingers down than the portion of our shoulder.

What should we do if someone has taken the vaccine and are dealing with pain in the shoulder?

Our new MSK Embolization in that we do that angiography and find the blood vessels which is known as Moya Moya blood vessels which reason for the pain. We inject embolization particles and those particles remove the abnormal blood vessels and the pain goes out from the patient’s shoulder. People get relief very much after the treatment. If you are getting pain after the vaccine then this treatment will be very helpful for you.
