For the first time in Gujarat, the conference of the Interventional Radiology Association has been organized in Surat. It will include 250 to 300 doctors from Mumbai, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. Radiologists from all over the country will guide these doctors. Dr. Rozil Gandhi the Interventional Radiologist of Banker Vascular Centre ( Unit Of BnG Vascular ), told that the interventional radiologist is developing rapidly. In this, every part of the body is operated on without any kind of incision with the help of sonography, city scan, and cath lab. With the help of interventional radiology, any disease can be treated without surgery. Diseases like Uterine fibroids can also be cured with the help of a Uterine artery embolization (UAE) without surgery. In this, the patient will not need to stay in the hospital for several days. There are many doctors performing this type of surgery across the state. Efforts are being made to create awareness among the patients. In this type of surgery, there is a good cure in a short time. The conference has been organized so that it develops rapidly. This will benefit both the patient and the doctor.
