The cause of the pain was "moyamoya blood vessels".

It has become clear that abnormal blood vessels grow in the inflamed area due to repeated stress. These abnormal blood vessels are called "moyamoya blood vessels" because they appear hazy and blurry in the angiographic image. Why does pain occur when blood vessels become moyamoya? This is because the pathological nerves grow together with the moyamoya blood vessels, and the nerves emit pain signals.

What is a moyamoya blood vessel?

It is thought that prolonged pain such as frozen shoulder, low back pain, and knee pain is caused by the increase in local tissue pressure due to the increase in pathological blood flow caused by moyamoya blood vessels. In general, people over the age of 40 are more likely to experience prolonged pain.

Day catheter

An elongated catheter with a thickness of about 0.6 mm is advanced into the artery from the blood vessels at the wrist, elbow, and groin, and the drug (embolic substance) is administered to the painful area. This medicine is a treatment that blocks blood vessels. The treatment time is about 20 minutes.

Treatment fee

All medical examinations, tests, and treatments related to moyamoya blood vessels are self-financed (All  insurance are covered). The cost of catheter treatment varies depending on the site to be treated. .
